Price: € 30
We start a wonderful day travelling to Alonissos and the gates of the National Marine Park of Sporades. Our first stop is at Patitiri, the main village and port of Alonissos, where we stay for 2,5 hours. There you can visit the museum of Alonnisos and the information center for the protection of the Mediterranean monk seal.
Additionally, there is an optional bus trip to the island's Old Town, an amphitheatrical traditional settlement that has been preserved unchanged in time and has been emerged as its most beautiful sightseeing.
Afterwards, we depart for Leftos Gialos beach and we stay there for 3 more hours, for swimming and endless dives from the boat. It’s a wonderful beach with crystal clear waters and white purples.
There you can also find plenty of taverns for lunch, most of them with homemade local food as well as fresh fish from the fishing boats of the area.
During trip we guide you around the Marine Park Sea area, to the closer deserted islets, Peristera, Dio Aderfia, Skandzoura, Agios Georgios and to other smaller ones where on the shores, at the steep cliffs and in the sea caves are nesting the Mediterranean seals, rare seabirds, such as the Aegean gull and the emigrant black-eyed eagles, as well as the unique species of wild goats. On the way we may meet dolphins, which friendly are approaching and playing around the boat or other times they are competing us in speed, sitting beside our bow.
We make also some short stops to guide you and take photos from the boat at the coastal villages of Alonissos, like Kokkinokastro, Votsi, Kalamakia and Rousoum Gialos. You can also admire the seabed from our ship's glass keel.
